I really liked my post on photos inspired by Imogen Cunningham. I really put a lot of time into taking the pictures and editing them to make them look as good as they could. It is some of the best work i have done in a while and i learned a lot on different styles of taking pictures by studying Imogen Cunningham's work.

The reason why i liked this photo was because i thought i did a good job editing. I also thought it was a unique picture with different ideas then other people and it was the best one i took during the photo session.

Best Photo

I believe this photo is one of my best work because it is another unique photograph and as i was editing for the firs time i learned how to make parts of the photograph color while the rest was black and white. I felt good on being able to edit photos and this is an example of my editing.

During second semester i would like to have our group choose mostly what we want to take pictures of like of sports or anything that comes up so that we wont be limited to certain ideas.

Photos inspired by Imogen Cunningham

Imogen Cunningham was born in Portland, Oregon in 1883. Imogen was named after the heroine of Shakespeare's Cymbeline. Cunningham attended University of Washington and majored in Chemistry. After graduating she began working for a photography studio in Seattle which led her to becoming successful in photography. My group was really inspired by the way Imogen Cunningham used photography, she took a lot of self portraits, hands, flowers and portraits of different people. i really enjoyed looking at her photographs and inspired me to want to photograph in ways and use techniques she used.
